God’s original design for our world has become corrupted by sin, and because of that, all of creation is suffering. We all experience some hard times while living in our fallen world, the Bible says. Joseph’s story is always my favorite… how he never lost hope in God, even as he was mistreated, sold into slavery, wrongfully convicted, and so on (you can read Joseph’s story in Genesis chapters 37, and 39-50). Keep in mind, that in addition to these verses, there are also many Bible stories that can inspire you to have hope. In reality, there are probably 1,000 or so! But, these are the verses that stood out to me, as being some of the best and most memorable. In researching these Bible verses about hope, I’m sure I missed some. That’s why it’s so important to lean on Scripture, and all the wonderful Bible verses about hope it contains.Īlways, always, always, when life doesn’t make sense, when you need guidance, when you need to hear from God about your situation… OPEN. Still, when you’re in the middle of a dark tunnel, where you can’t see the light at the end yet, it can be hard to keep up hope. If you’ve ever had to wait a long time for something, you know as well as I do that God’s timing is different from ours-but it’s always good! And, quite often, the way He answers our prayers is not what we expected… but better! He knows what we need much better than we do. Of course, our Heavenly Father doesn’t always act in the way or time that we think He should. That means, whatever you may be feeling hopeless about, God can make a way even where there seems to be no way! The Bible tells us countless times that nothing is too hard for God there is no limit to what He can do! If you find yourself feeling hopeless, you are definitely not alone! We all feel that way from time to time… there are just so many seeming impossible situations in life, where all the options are exhausted, and there appears to be no way out.įor the diagnosis that leaves little hope for a cure, or the job market where it seems impossible to find work, or the loved one who seems too far gone (emotionally, spiritually, or mentally) to be helped… in such situations, it would be easy to give up hope. ✝️ □️ ❤️ Welcome, friend!
